Why do dogs dislike mailmen?

because they dress funny, and don'r ask permission to come on the property..both traits make dog suspicious.

I don't think they necessarily dislike them, but they bark at them because in the dog's mind they are intruding into the family's territory. In a pack of dogs usually there's an unspoken agreement (since dogs don't speak) that each member of the clan will alert the rest in the event of an infiltration.

Mailmen always carry letter , it thought that they are going to hit them like what your family or you do top your dog when he is naughty if you used to use newspaper as a 'tool' to tech the dog.

Because mailman trespass on their territory but it also not true that dogs don't like the mailman. My dogs love ours. And so do our neighbor's dogs.

there are many reason, they can be territorial, they could hate people in uniforms, or the fact that the mailman is there almost every day can make them mad
