Staying motivated is hard indeed but not impossible. Don't just cut out all the things that you used to eat, nothing will push you over the edge faster than deprivation; have the suggested serving. Once you start eating better you body will feel better so that when you try and eat food that's not really healthy your body feels horrid and you'll just stop eating it. Having someone in your corner who believes in you and has the same goals as you is also a great help to your success. Knowing why want to lose weight and be healthy is the ultimate way to stay motivated. If you're doing it for the right reasons then nothing will deter you. Hope that helped! Keep up the great work!

The hardest part is getting up with the intention to do so. Really! I work out in the afternoon now, but because of a busy schedule, I used to get up at 5 everyday just to get some excercise! For anybody that knows me, that's a BIG DEAL!! Really, I promise. The hardest part is getting up. Even if you're just going to run up and down the stairs in your house a few times. The hardest part is getting up to get your shoes on. Just do it! Once you're up, you won't sit down!!

I have an active job, but I do squats and free weights to prevent osteoporosis. My motivation is seeing my mom all humped over with curvature of the spine.

Find a friend with similar goals and you can motivate each other. Also, you can join something you have to commit to, like join some kind of class that you have to attend. Do things you like too.
