Well there are some guys that are shy and some that aren't...I guess he just doesn't want his parents to be all like, "AAWW you have a girlfriend?!?!" One of my bfs was that way and I didn't like that he did that so I broke up with him becuase he didn't even tell his bestfriend...really shy with anything.

Ofcourse!!! It's a big deal and the next stage of life with a boy. Ofcourse it might run through his head the implications of what his parents might think. He nmmight be shy because of what they think about the boy having a relationshi[, or are do they like my GF, are they having sex. I'm pretty sure a boy of that age will over trouble himself with thoughts, therefore become shy about it and prefer maybe not to have his GF infront of everyone.

Perfectly normal. When we are in our teens, our families embarass sometimes. It's completely normal. You will get past this in time. Enjoy your friends and family. You don't have to mix the two just yet. I have a son who will be 16 in October. He has never really been comfortable talking to me about his girlfriends. Just this summer he finally told me that he was "crazy" about this girl he just met. Progress....but I still haven't met her. Good luck.

Well it is naturaly to be shy when showing a girl in front of his family.. BUT.. If the guy really loves her, he should get over that shyness and introduce her to his parents.. That way, the parents will know that this girl is important to him and the girl will feel ABSOLUTELY flattered and special since she is finaly introduced to the guy's parents. ^-^
