Drinking lots of water with insufficient electrolye intake can be fatal. Be sure to consult a doctor or nutritionist before starting on a diet that includes drinking large amounts of water.

Drinking water can help you lose weight if it keeps you from overeating or drinking high-calorie beverages. Water can give you a full feeling, allaying hunger pangs. But excessive water consumption can be dangerous.

It can help a lot! I lost 15 lbs in one summer from drinking as much water as I could- close to a gal. a day. Water can durb cravings and makes you feel full. But I ate too of course.
but you have to be careful not to get overhydrated, as that is a condition that can lead to death.

The body needs water to mantain its daily functions. Water helps flush out toxing from the body. If the body isn't taking enough water, the water there is, is used for other things in which you get bloated. Water will get rid of that excess water weight that bloats you and it will help your body run efficiently and you'll begin dropping body fat. Keep in mind you need to exercise in which your metabolism will burn fat faster.
