Beliefs are beliefs, & most people take them seriously, I think if anyone says something different, a lot of people take it as an insult to their own beliefs & get deffensive, they feel your saying they must be stupid for believing it.
I like hearing what other people believe, I find it very interesting. So, don't worry, I'll never try to change anyone else, that wouldn't be any fun !!!

LOL

Why is it some pagans are so offended by the christian beliefs of others?

My brother is a Wiccan and we have agreed to not discuss religion. I'm willing to hear him out, but he always assumes that he knows what I belive and is terrified I might say something.

why are some pagans offended by christian beliefs? it happens in anything, regardless of whether the one "doing the offending" has actually pushed it on the other person.

I'm not offended by what you believe. That's your business. But if your belief leads to your acting in a way that involves me then it becomes my business. I should not have to adopt your beliefs simply because I am in the same area as you.

I'm kind of amused by belief systems. So, in a way, you are very much like the Christians. To me, anyway.

Some christians think they are going to change everyone.
They are the ones who have not bothered to read the bible.

It tells them not to worry about others, only to do for them selves what is written.

Since the dawn of time. Their have been all the rest. You decide.

I don't attend church or anything, but I do consider myself a christian.I beleive people have a right to their beleifs.I'm friends with people from all walks of life, even aetheists. If some one is a true friend I beleive that they should respect you and not push their beleifs on you.As I don't push my beleifs on others.

maybee you could substitue the word Christiians with ANY grouping - it'd probably still be true

People fear what they do not understand. To protect themselves they diminish the importance or rele=vance of it- thus making themselves feel superior and hence safer.
