Why are most of you angry with me for telling the truth?

Question

Girls we know what we want in a man so why are you angry with me for telling the truth? If an unattractive guy walked up to you in a bar or dance club do you really expect me to believe that you'll give him the time of day? i mean most of us have these discussions when we goto the ladies room and laugh about the guys that tried to pick us up. So why get mad with me for stating the truth about wanting a good-looking male (model type) and how unattractive men should be deported?
Or better way of stating it, why get mad at me for judging on looks?

I ain't mad at anyone! I would rather have someone tell the truth right from the start than to waste my time with their crap! And lets be honest...guys judge us on our looks first, so why shouldn't we do the same? Nothing wrong with having high standards for ourselves! Must be why I am still single after 5 years!!

People judge other people that they don't know by looks. It's only natural that people make judgments and even prejudices. When you don't know the person, the only way you judge him from is from the looks. It's human nature, can't really blame you for it.

Furthermore, it's also natural that all girls want good-looking guys as their escorts. I mean, what good is a boyfriend if his face make you lose your appetite?

But then again, good looks are not everything. I mean, you're actually going out with the GUY,not the FACE. There's nothing wrong with judging people from their appearance, but it is wrong to judge people SOLELY from their looks. And if you say unattractive people should just disappear, human kind would reach extinction at the age of 40.

Good looks will fade, sooner or later. No matter how good looking you are, wrinkles will soon appear and you will be hoping that even ugly people have a place in the society. Put yourself in his shoes and imagine how he felt when you turn him down. You can reject if you want to, but you don't have to hurt his feelings as well.

Remember, being unattractive is also a human right. You shouldn't make fun of it.

I am not angry with you. However you should know that there is more to a person then looks. Even if the person is not attractive he may still have a lot to offer. You may find that people who are into their looks, like you are, may end up hurting you. Who knows if they like you for you or your looks. There is nothing wrong with having a nice looking man with a beautiful body. Just as long as he has intelligence's , honest , caring and so on. For you to say that unattractive men should be deported , come on now! Your not being judge, just being offered a little wisdom. Get to know a person for something more then their looks.

The truth hurts, most people want everyone to be honest and truthful yet when they hear something they dont like they get mad. But then they get mad for not telling them the truth. The thing is just because someone isnt good looking doenst mean you cant have a converstation with them. Its not like you have to sleep with them, you can just have a converstation. The thing is not every single person is interested in the way someone looks when they are looking for a mate. Some girls I know love when a guy can make them laugh and thats mainly what they look for. (its hard to make them laugh)

I'm not mad at you and I don't feel that anyone else should be either. Even though I don't totally agree with you. But face it in a social situation people are gonna be more receptive to an attractive person vs. an unatractive person. The flip to this is that in some situations you get to know a person and find out that you are attracted to their personallity or opinions. But for the most part you are right...

But deportation is a bit extreme.

Just because you only know people who think that they should only date people who are on the covers of magazines you shouldn't use that to determine what the rest of us are thinking. I have been with men who were beautiful and men who were not. I like it when a man can talk to me and be interesting. Not mch else counts. I don't need or want a status symbol or an ornament. I am a good enough ornament. I want someone who gives a damm. So, just cause you personally don't like someone doesn't mean they should be deported. It's funny that you mention models, though. Did you know that many are gay? My brother was a model and a lot of his friends were gay.

truth is good in most cases. this is not one of them. i mean tell someone they a ugly is wrong because they are good looking to someone. you will be one of them people will be saying were is all the good guys, why am i always being treated like crap. i take that one statement badly(unattractive men should be deported)if that was true you would be left with a hand full of a**holes. i would say you are not much of a catch yourself

Well, I do believe that personality prevails, but no way am I angry at you!

A lot of Men treat women like that all the time, but expect us to be fair minded about THEM and not judge them on their looks..

They say the reality hurts - and it simply makes a few folks uncomfortable doesnt it? But in fact k as long as it isnt given with the purpose of injuring any one. Sometimes just a little white lie is larger if it way any one isnt going to be poleaxed via being harm.

As looks are the fisrt thing thats viewed and will or won't attract you to the person...
An aweful lot of women judge on looks and get burned though...
