Me and my best friend for 6 years got together at one point. But then she got to clingy (calling me constantly, emails me nearly 10 times a day) I figure it's time to split up but I don't want to kill the friendship. Any help?

Its hard to end a relationship and keep a friendship, its almost impossible. But I think if you just tell her your situation, on how you need your space, without forgeting to remind her how much she means to you, she will understand. She might not understand at first, but if she truly cares for you she will come to realize that what your doing will be better for the both of you.

My dear if she's clingy just tell her straight she will change, like you said you two have been friends for 6 years. she will treasure your friendship and she'll back off.

The friendship ended when you two decided to cross the line. Sorry. There's no going back.

I agree with the little monkey. It's over as friends.
