- got a camcoder and after using Pinnacle Studio for extracting the show and after output, the movie is clear but after i try to make it into a movie and burn, the quality decreases so much. can anyone advise me on how to make clearer, sharper movie? or direct me to a proper forum.

hey i use pinnacle studio alot. the only reason i can think that it would decrease picture quality is because your movies are too long for the DVDs So pinnacle has to decrease quality to make the movie fit. try making a shorter video (less then 45 minutes). if it doesn't automatically decrease the quality when you push burn then that is the reason. what you can do about that is get a double layer DVD recorder (http://www.cwol.com/dvd-burners/hp-dvd740i.htm ) and buy some blank double layer DVDs. then you can burn movies that are at least 2 hours long without pinnacle having to decrease quality to make it fit
