If you are drinking a lot of Pepsi, then you probably have an addiction to the caffeine AND the sugar. Sugar and caffeine are highly addictive and stopping cold turkey will likely give you a terrific headache for several days. (I gave up sugar and caffeine years ago and had the headache from hell for about a week.) If you are ok with a non-stop headache for a couple days, then go for it. I would suggest slowly replacing your Pepsi with Sprite/7-Up/Sierra Mist, some caffeine-free drink until you are off the Pepsi completely. Then gradually replace the clear soft drinks with sweetened tea drinks, then begin replacing the sweetened drinks with a fruit-flavored water or sparkling water. It will take a bit longer, but no killer withdrawal headaches and your tastebuds will eventually find sodas repulsive :-) Good luck!

Stop buying it. If you never buy Pepsi it will be hard to drink Pepsi. Or limit your intake. Buy a 12 pack and make it last you a week, then buy another 12 pack and make it last 2 weeks, and so on until you are buying a 12 pack once a year, then quit.

I'm addicted to soda (Coke) too! I know exactly where you are coming from. I'd suggest not going cold turkey though. I tried that and the headache was the worst of my life. I liked the idea mentioned above about weaning by making the 12-pack last first a week, then 2 weeks and so on. I think I'm going to try that. Good luck! I think we'll both need it!

Here's what worked for me (I quit my Diet Coke habit a year ago)
I established a few rules.
First, I could only buy ONE of whatever size I was getting at a time. For example, if I was buying a 2 litre bottle, I could only buy one. That way when I ran out if I wanted more I had to go to the store.
Next, I moved down a bottle size, and only bought 1.5 litre bottles. This meant I ran out faster, and it wasn't always convenient to go to the store so I had to wait. When I was comfortable with that level of drinking, I moved down to a 1 litre bottle.
I kept moving down the sizes, until I was at single serving cans. By this time I had really cut down because it was such a pain to go to the store all the time, and because it was really expensive buying them one at a time.
Finally I was drinking so little that I was able to cut them out altogether. There was still some withdrawal (headache, fatigue), but nowhere near as severe as when I tried to quit cold turkey.
Good luck! You will feel better if you can cut out that crap.

or if u like cold drinks that much than start drinkin MAAZA instead of ne other soft drinks like coke or pepsi coz it is much less carbonated.
no doubt chewing gum will help a lot.

Discipline yourself to drink an equal volume of ice water every time you have a Pepsi. You can still enjoy your fix but should start drinking less of it overall (unless you really enjoy peeing a lot).

Down a 2 liter as quickly as possible. Then go for run, at least 2 miles. That should make you feel farily sick and you will associate that nasty feeling with pepsi. Worked for me.
