Here we go again, more religious sex abuse of little children. Johnson City, Texas – Charges have been laid against four monks alleging they sexually assaulted a boy at a Texas monastery that draws thousands of visitors every year.
Authorities raided the Christ of the Hills Monastery last week in search of "instruments of child abuse. The four monks, plus another serving a 10-year prison sentence for indecency with a minor, were charged after a young man claimed he had been assaulted at the monastery beginning in 1993. Another accuser has come forward, and others could follow.
Three of the monks appeared in court in shackles and orange prison jumpsuits Monday for charges of sexual assault of a child and organized criminal activity. Monastery founder Samuel Greene 61, has also been charged one count of sexual performance of a child.
You must wonder how many other innocent children have been sexually abused by religious leaders but are too scared to come forward.

Child abuse is sick. What is worse is when the churches cover it up and defend it.

People from all walks of life do that stuff. Even if those guys are guilty (which has yet to be proven), to generalize that all religious leaders are therefore prone to molest children, is as wrong as saying that all English people are stupid, malicious, arrogant liars, just because Brenda's World is one.

As you stated, Christians suppose in a ideal God. It does not imply that they're ideal! Christians are thoroughly conscious in their "sinful nature" and the truth that they're pressured with its department of their lives till they go away their bodily our bodies. The first-class any Christian can do is emulate Jesus Christ's teachings and instructions as first-class they are able to. If they fail to regularly, they recognize it. Your rant indicates not anything greater than an irritated public expression to hide up a few sort of deeper individual harm. Targeting and generalizing your perspective in the direction of Christians for simply being themselves is not going to difference your instances; handiest you'll do this. Your eyes aren't as "open" as you declare them to be.

yep, it is sickening. But how do you feel about non religious leaders, people who rape a young girl, kill her, then leave her corpse out like so much discarded trash?
the crime is equally revolting, and one's profession should not be taken into account when punishing the wicked.

I favor the death penalty for sex offenders of minors. Statistically speaking, reformation does not occur.
