I'm traveling to another state within the US soon. If I can, carry-on or luggage?

I'm also curious about eyelash curlers. The TSA Prohibited list says they can be brought carry-on and checked. They are hamless enough, but you never know these days.

Nail clippers?

Yes, I have taken hair dryers, nail clippers, tweazers in my carry on luggage. So I dont see why you wouldnt be able to take a hair straightner.

Your flat iron, eyelash curlers, nail clippers, cuticle clippers, and most everything else is allowed. If you have the prohibited list, take it with you, as I've seen on this site some of the TSA Officers aren't reading up on their new SOP. This way if they even try to take your nail clippers, you can show them the prohibited list. Oh yea nail clippers have been fine for at least two years, only major change in prohibited is lighters which changed in April of 2005.

Yes, you can hair straightener/flat iron inboard, and even clippers, if the TSA has a problem with what you have they will look to see if it can legally go, or take it from you and have it mailed to you, not a Big Deal, you'll be fine, besides they just pass the Law where clippers, nail files, sewing needles, etc can come through security, trust me, I'm a flight attendant I know theses things...

I brought my hair straightener with me on my last flight. I put it in the luggage I think. Eye lash curler - probably okay too. Not sure about nail clippers, sadly - that may be pushing the limits!

Everything yes, except nail clippers. it really depends on what type they are. The normal ones, I have gotten through security, the pointy ones (suticle) nooooo!
