1) we got enough hotels in Hawaii, wot say you build in Guam?
2) weight of hotel too much, O'ahu may start to sink (almost like global warming) we call it Island Sinking!
3) if you do have to build here, can I open up my own ABC Store in the lobby? - rent free?
4) instead of hotel, can you build triple decker freeways instead and maybe a subway system?

I thought it was law that each building in Honolulu must have an ABC Store. If he replaces a good solid structure in place of a junkie one then I'd have no problem. But watch out for the casino that may be next.

I try not to spend too much time on Oahu so maybe I not the best person to respond. As long as Trump stays off Maui...

Fricken Rich A$$ people thinking they can just build without asking permission from the local peoples of the Islands..

And how will the hotel directly affect you...? It won't. You know those reasons are not valid (Hawaii cannot sink), and even if they were then they probably wouldn't help.

Sorry. :(

Also, I am totally for the preservation of land, but if it's downtown O'ahu, then it probably won't be using untouched land. If they are, then I probably would say that IS a valid reason.

i thought it was high end luxury condos. either way it will be another hawaiian property bought up by non-locals that will further drive the housing price up to a level none of us can afford.

he can build it as long as he put in his own sewage pipe.
