if you are using windows media player 10, insert the CD and press "Rip" tab... if youre using the old version of windows media player, you cant...

Place your disk into the correct drive. Open Media Player and expand the Media Player window to full screen. Click the Rip tab. All of the songs on the CD will be checked; uncheck the box by any song(s) you do not wish to rip.

To view or change your options, click Tools, Option. Click the Rip Music tab. Be sure “Copy protect music” is not checked. Click the down arrow on the Format drop-down list box in the Rip setting section and click on the desired setting (MP3 or Windows Media Audio [WMA]). Click Apply and then click OK.

insert audio cd
Take copy from cd option.
tick the songs u like to rip
then click copy music at the top of the window(centered)

um if you have the same version as me you just put the cd in then click the rip tab and it should bring up the songs then you click start rip
