I am going to college...and their book store is expensive. Can I buy online the same book from amazon? Is that against my school's rules?

no you do NOT have to buy them from the college bookstore. In fact, if you do, it's stupid. Here is what you need to do.

Get your book list of all texts that you will need.
Go to the college book store and note all versions (get ISBN's if you can)
Log on to amazon.com or wherever, and get those books for cheaper if you can!
Saving money in college is a must...wherever you can, do it.

I made it through college by either buying used books, older versions, or sharing books with people who had the same class but at a different time. Do what you need to do. It can be done.
