Some people are chronically angry. They were born that way, they are living that way, and they will die that way. They have a combative nature, they are extremely judgmental and punitive, and they think they are better than others and see themselves as victims, when in reality they're bullies. They are also rageaholics, which is now the new disorder among psychologists.

If he wakes up in a bad mood every day, then something is wrong that you may not know about, or he is chronically angry. My fiance NEVER wakes up in a bad mood; my ex husband rarely woke up in a bad mood. So, not all guys do this. Everyone will wake up in a bad mood sometime in their life, maybe even a few times in their lives, but they don't usually wake up like that every day unless something is wrong.

probably old repressed pain from his youth that he's never dealt with and doesn't know how to dissolve. plus, it's his way of controlling everyone and everything and so long as he believes it's working, he'll go on with this coping skill.
