If you were standing before God and he asked you why should I let you into my heaven, what would you tell him?

I believe that I will hear well done my good and faithful servant.
Eph 2:8-9
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

I can only stand before God, covered in the blood of Jesus. Not anything that I will ever do will get me into heaven. Isn't that the coolest thing? that God knows I am not good enough on my own merit. I don't have to clean up to get there,Jesus did it for me. I just have to accept and have faith the size of a grain of a mustard seed. That knocked my socks off, when I finally got that in my spirit.
be blessed

I would say that even though I've made some mistakes in my life, I learned from them and I am sorry for the things that I have done wrong. I always tried to be the best person I could be. I hope that you will let me into heaven so I can be with my family and friends.

I would tell him that I loved Him and His Son very much and tried to follow their teachings the best that I could. I would also tell him that I was a good person that I loved a great deal. The funny thing is, God already knows my heart and doesn't need to ask this. I'm sure that would just be a formality. :)

Mr. Almighty, I believe that I possess the necessary qualifications to be part of your Heaven team. While your competitors in Hell have been scouting me out for some time, but I decided to come to you first since I believe that Heaven has a better future. You have already seen my impressive portfolio, so if you have any further questions please ask, although knowing who you are, you should already know the answer.

I have believe your promise God. I have trusted in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for me on the cross. He died for my sin and He was buried and took my sins away and He rose again the third day for my justification. I know God that you can not lie and Your Word has told me what I had to do to get into Your heaven. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 4: 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Assuming that God would ever ask me that question I would say Lord, you know my heart and my mind. You know that I am not perfect nor is any other human perfect. You know I have tried to do the best I can with what I had in my life. But the soul decision is yours Lord. Do you think I am worthy to live in paradise with you?

What about you? How would you answer God?

If that happened then I'd say god, how can you ask me this question? Aren't you suppose to be all-knowing and all-loving?
I thought that an all-knowing god would already know the answer to a question before it is even asked? And also why would an all-loving god deny me entry to his place?

You see this guy standing right here next to me. He lived the perfect life that I couldn't live, and you promised that if I believed this and was jeered at and laughed at for claiming this belief to be true, that you would let me in. After you two talk about me for a little bit, I'll want Peter to show me my digs proto! I've got to get busy with eternal glory.
