We met when I was in 10th grade and shes in 8th grade. I was coaching the track team and she was one of the runners. She was really cute at the time but I had work to do. She comes up to me all the time (even when the team ended) and says "Hi" with a big smile. I really like her but I dont even think she knows, how can I possibly be with her?

Just a note: my son's middle name is Thunder...

anyway, it sounds like she likes you, and 2 years isn't too big a difference. Ask her to a dance, dinner, or a movie with friends. Someplace where there are a few people around, but that you guys can sit next to each other. (that is so sweet!)

If she is going up to u and giving u a smile she is probably flirting with you but you are to blind to see it. It seems that you are leary of the age difference. There are some laws you might want to check into if she is underage 17 and you are 18+. Be on the safe side! Good Luck!

I don't think 2 years matters that much. Just be careful since she's under 18. Does anyone really think 2 years is too much of an age difference, at ANY age?

As long as she is over 16 (in most states) she can give consent to haveing a sexual relationship but if she is under 16 than maybe u should wait untill she is older. You should try hanging out with her and getting to know her because it may turn out she isnt your type. Be carefull and be smart.

Nothing wrong with the age difference, its like what, 2 yrs difference? no biggy! Just tell her how you feel like you would any girl. Take her out somewhere or something, hang out and then tell her how you feel. You never know, maybe she's been feeling the same way. Good luck ;)

The best thing to do is be honest with her and tell her exactly what's on your mind as far as this is concerned. That's the only way you will get past this situation. Good luck!!!

If she is NOT 18 yet, be careful. Parents can press the issue and you could do jail time.
