Yes, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit were all in the Old Testament. Jesus was the Son of God in the Old Testament, often referred to as the Angel of the LORD. We see Him walking in the Garden with Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:8), comforting Hagar (Genesis 16:7), appearing to Abraham (Genesis 17:1), and staying Abraham's hand from Isaac (Genesis 22:11). He also was the one to appear to Moses in the burning bush (Exodus 3:2), the one who stopped Balaam (Numbers 22:22), well, and any place you see God appearing to people.

Technically, He was not Jesus because Jesus was the name given to Him only once He took on human form.

Yes that is true! But, it gets even better. In the O.T. the people came to a priest, presented offerings to God through him, ok! But, Jesus was the High Priest AND the Sacrifice/Prohet (yes my Muslim friends He was a prophet, but it does not end there) but He was also Priest, and King!
Before Sodom was destroyed by God, three men showed up at his door. He bowed himself to the ground and said "My Lord...let water be fetched ...wash your feet...rest under the tree...and have some food! God ate with Abraham. This was the same time when it was announced that Sarah, now 80 or 90 would have a son~she had a son just as promised. Try to disprove it, but you can't. If you research this with an open heart you will find more than you could imagine.

John 1:1 says, "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God." Isaiah 7 says something about a child called Immanuel, meaning "God with us". In John 8:58, Jesus says, "Before Abraham was, I am".

These passages would seem to indicate that Jesus of the Gospels and Yahweh of the Old Testament are one and the same.

If you examine their characters, though, you find that they cannot possibly be the same unless God changed dramatically from a vengeful and demanding tyrant to a humble but powerful teacher of love and truth.

Nothing is true JUST because it's in the Bible.

Yes, Jesus is God in the Old Testament... the one who physically created the earth and everything on it... the one who spoke to the Prophets...

Jesus did so at God the Father's command... and because he Loves us so much!

no , God of old testament is not a man.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

"Christ the son of Mary was no more than an Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!"

Yes, you are correct. Some people believe that He was the fourth person walking about in the flames with Shadrach Meshach and Abednego. Some believe that the three persons who spoke to Abraham by the Oak at Mamre were the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit!

this could be a astonishing question and that i visit do my terrific to proportion a number of my recommendations interior the bounds of this communicate board. Jesus suggested that anybody who "observed Me has seen the daddy". There are different passages the place it states Jesus is the "authentic representation of the daddy". So did God get "stored" between Malachi and Matthew? If Jesus confirmed mercy to the prostitutes and tax-creditors (like the adult adult males at Enron who stole money from human beings) then is Father no longer a merciful father additionally? as quickly as we see the previous testomony we each so often ignore the passages that show mercy...there are various passages interior the Psalms that communicate the long suffering staying power of God...there are different passages the place God condemns the ruling elite in Israel (nonetheless previous testomony) with the aid of fact the undesirable are starving and homeless b/c of the elite's greed. God's grief at sin with the aid of fact it destroys what He loves is the comparable interior the previous testomony as interior the recent testomony. Jesus, whilst healing a guy with a topic arm, regarded on the pharisees with anger b/c He observed that they have been so troublesome of their hearts they might somewhat go away the guy suffering then have him healed on the Sabbath. back we see the affection of God in Christ for those suffering the two bodily or emotionally. He suggested I come for the sinners no longer for the righteous. He used the analogy of a physician no longer coming to heal people who're healthful however the healthcare expert will come and heal the guy who's ill. this is unquestionably one of those extensive topic for communicate. wish this has been fairly powerful...and that i might inspire you to have this communication with human beings around you..or locate somebody you who you have confidence to communicate this with.
