First off, to be a Christian means that you have accepted the gift of forgiveness given by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus and accepted him as your personal saviour. If you ask Jesus to come into your heart, repent of your sins and do your best to follow Him you will become a changed person. This does not mean you instantly love going to church but you will start to find little changes that effect your life. Maybe you don't have as short a temper, or you find more compassion to others. The fact is that most chruchgoers are not Christian. Only those who have a personal relationship with Christ. To have that you must accept His death and resurrection. Then as He stated, follow His commandments, all ten, which include the 4th about the Sabbath. You cannot do this alone, you will need the help of the Holy Spirit which God has promised to pour out to those who ask. The best way to grow spiritually is to study the Bible and get with someone you trust and believes to help guide you. Prayer should be done in times of good and bad. Think of Jesus as your best friend that you can tell your deepest thoughts to. All your dreams and your worst nightmares.

Well, well, well.
You said you believe in Jesus. Tell me your believe in Jesus by answering these questions.
Do you know Jesus? Do you love Him? Who do you think Jesus is? Do you think Jesus cares for you? How do you know?
Suppose you said you know your wife. You probably meet her everyday. In fact you live together with her. You cannot just say you believe your wife and live somewhere else or ignore your wife and only have conversation once in a while.
Christianity is a love relationship between God and mankind.
First and foremost, Jesus loves you.
Secondly, if you accept the fact and receive that love from God,
you will love Him back. And, this love affair is very apparent in day to day live.
If the church bores you, it's quite ok actually. It might be a sign that you don't understand it real well or the pastor was speaking too fast when explaining the topic.
It might also a sign that you have not been born again yet. So, it is all mystery to you.
You can tell yourself which one it is. I cannot tell you. But I admire your courage to be open about your current condition.
May God help you !

The Bible says "judge not lest yea be judged" so I am not going to tell you that you are or are not a christian; however I will tell you that you need the whole truth the real truth and you will naturally become more "spiritual"... but to answer your question about going to hell I know that spending eternity in hell is not 100% dependent upon how spiritual you are but what I can tell you is again that you really do need the truth ... :) !!! God Bless... O and as for church being boring... you should come to my church sometime :) lol nothing boring about it :) I Love the Lord and my Church feel free to contact me :) !!!

It's more about what you do in your life.
YOu do your rob, cheat, steal, sell dangerous drugs, commit adutlry with more than your eyeballs. If an old lady asks the way to a market, do you offer her a ride there. If it's raining and someone at work is walking and it's not too far out of your way do you take them home. If you wife doesn't feel like sex and truly is under the weather do you not push her, bring her some Gingerale, Seven Up or a cup of hot chocolate and kiss her on the forehead.
God wants people who follow the word of God and Jesus. WHo live the life as best as they can.
What you do reflects on God and Jesus, are you living somewhat up to their standards?

Satan believes in Jesus and God... But he is not a Christian. To be a Christian it takes more than just believing. Real Christianity is more than going to church doing good things and reading the Bible. It is developing a relationship with the person of Jesus Christ.... so much so that you realize that you are a sinner in need of help and forgiveness. When you stand as a sinner before a holy God...l. you will realize how sinful you are... and want to repent. Repentance clears the way to God.
You have found church boring? Your going to a dead church. Try one with life and joy... try a Pentecostal or charismatic church...and you will discover something that is alive. God is real and wants to interact with you... He heals sick people. He helps people overcome sin and drugs. He heals marriages. God wants you to know that you are here for a reason.... and that reason is to find Him..... Seek Him with all your heart and you will find Him....not in your dead church, but in one that is alive and preaches and teaches the Bible for a relavant world today.

You will have to decide that for yourself.
Jesus said" Wide is the way and Broad is the gate that leads to Destruction, and many go therein, but staight is the way and narrow is the gate that leads to life, and there are few that find it".
Matt.7:13
PS Don't be fooled by those who decieve others into believing that Muslims believe in Jesus...They don't ! They refuse to believe Jesus is the Messiah , Son of God, a requirement that the Bible says is neccessary for eternal life.

=====================
if you have right faith with good deeds, then you will not go to hell. as quran says ,
quran 4:147. What can Allah gain by your punishment, if ye are grateful and ye believe? Nay, it is Allah that recogniseth (all good), and knoweth all things.
We should consider the fact not just the word. The fact is that Jesus preached to believe in one God. Jesus worshipped one True God. Jesus prayed to God( he even fell on his face and prostrated, bible - Matthew 26:39). Jesus preached ten commandments which are found in the teachings of Islam also. Jesus prohibited pork, wine, blood, dead meat or any food on which any name besides God has been taken. Jesus prohibited adultery, fornication. Jesus used to fast for more than a month, Muslims do fast too continously for 30 days in the month of Ramadan. Jesus practiced circumcision (bible - Luke 2:21), Jesus greeted by saying "peace be on you" (Luke 24:36) same as muslims greet i.e. Assalamoalikum means peace be on you, and last but not least, he prohibits Shirk i.e. Associating partners with God almighty (bible Mark 12:29). The teachings of Christianity was never taught by Jesus. Jesus never said that "he is God". Jesus never said that he came to die for the sins of the world. what Jesus preached,, i mentioned above..So all these teachings are part of Islam. So Jesus was a muslim.

its having a personal relationship with christ that saves a person from hell. its not doing this or not doing that.
now imagine you trying to have a relationship with your wife and you only talk to her once or twice a month. you would be on the street in no time. its the same with jesus his word says that we are sure that we know him if we keep his commandments. so if you dont obey him then no you are not a christian. but you can start that relationship right now if you wish

Some churches are boring, you need to find the one that works for you. It's not about the place its about God. You should have a desire to talk to God and get to know him( doesn't sound like you have that) Jesus died for you, and you don't want to take time to praise him everyday. Hmm! Don't compare yourself to tother, everyone has their own pace. Get to know God, and be thankful for what he did for you. If you asked him into your heart, and you beleive that the whole entire Bible is true then you will go to Heaven.

WE ALL NEED CONDONEMENT IN DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES FROM TIME TO TIME. YOU FIRMLY SOUND LIKE A GOOD CHRISTIAN TO ME. JUST TRY TO LOVE EVERYONE...DISPITE SOME OF THIER WAYS! OF COARSE LOVE GOD AND YOURSELF BY TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF. WHEN YOU DO OR SAY SOMETHING THAT YOU KNOW INSIDE YOURSELF IS WRONG, IMMEDIATELY AND HEARTFULLY ASK GOD TO FORGIVE YOU AND THEN DON'T GO BACK AND SAY OR DO THE THING AGAIN.
IT WOULD BE GREAT THOUGH IF YOU NOT COULD, BUT "WOULD" MAKE MORE TIME TO PRAY AND READ AT LEAST A VERSE OR TWO IN THE BIBLE A LOT MORE OFTEN. WHEN YOU MAKE TIME FOR IT, THEN AFTER A FEW TIMES IT BECOMES MORE ROUTINE AND THE MORE YOU PRAY AND READ....THUS IN TURN YOU WANT TO PRAY, READ, LOVE AND DO MORE GOOD FOR OTHERS! GOD BLESS!
