In my experience.....pics are either older pics(when they looked better,thinner or younger) or from an angle that makes them look way better than they are.I actually got a pic from a woman that was her sister,like I wouldn't notice when we met!
Bottom line......communicate first and follow your instincts.
Then meet,nothing beats a meeting in person(in a well lit, public place)

I think a pic is really important. What happens if you go on a date and you find the girl really ugly? That's pretty awkward isn't it?

first i think love is better felt and experienced in person but if you enjoy meeting people on line its cool! oh and about the pix.... lets not kid our selves that is the first thing we look at! its the only thing you have to connect with this person and see how he is!!!
