Because to politicians - the real issue is always MONEY - and big corporations make money off of illegals. George doesn't want anyone to follow those rules - he might not get paid.

I wish it were only that simple but its not!! people are targeting Mexicans and discouraging any immigration. are you going to flat out say that everyone is being treated equally in this case? because if you are that is pure ignorance. there is so much racism involved its even affecting Mexicans that are citizens. i don't know the situation where you live but here in Texas its not pretty i am tired of being called a dirty Mexican and being told that this is the "white man's" country. Yes it is illegal but people are only looking at the problem on the surface. why is everyone coming to the US? why are they willing to die crossing over the borders? Is the situation that bad? What can we do to make them stay in their own countries? Is illegal immigration a cry for help? These are the questions we should be asking.

If it was not a big deal, why are there laws on immigration in the first place? All legal immigrants coming to America (greatest country) have to go through a screening process. Illegal immigrants bypass this and claim that they are starving and need jobs. Insults that American are lazy do not support there cause. Come here legally and stop trying to pull on my crocodile tears.

The U.S. has laws already in place, Our elected officials are trying to use this "illegal immigration" issue to amend the Constitution once again to take away our freedoms and rights.
We have laws and rules in order to regulate a large society, the problems arise when an outside segment of society which does not belong attempts to circumvent the laws and regulations that society has agreed to live by.
That sounds complicated even to myself. oh well, Thats my answer.

You are right. Why have laws if nobody will enforce them? I find it very offensive that all laws BUT immigration laws are enforced. When illegals break the law, they should be put in jail, not rewarded.

I agree.....
However, only a hand few of law enforcement are enforcing the immigration laws. Its all political on all sides. The govt. wants them here, for the sake of economy.
Some of those who don't want them here is because of racism, they are hurting their own cause, when they spew hate, they loose credibility.

I understand, only too well. Criminal invaders are breaking the law, and nothing is being done about it! We need a mass deportation. Round up all these criminals, from whichever country, and get them the hell out of this country!

Poverty makes people do desperate things. Mexico's government has used the US as a safety valve one time too often!
