Going to Los Angeles, CA what are the MUST SEE places to go to?

My friend and I are going to LA on August the 23 thru the 25th. We wil be in twon for a few days so do u all have any options or places that we must know about? is there a concert going on or anything in town?

ive answered this question before, its a long list, check it out:

now that i remember, the only thing i forgot to add to the list was to visit the Hollywood Bowl, choose the date and the classical music you want to listen to, can check out the dates when there are fireworks and buy the cheapest tickets, worth going at least only once!

I really dig Universal Studios for the best touristy thing. Go to www.ticketmaster.com and search the Los Angeles area for events August 23-25. LA always has shows happening so you will get a feel for what is happening on those dates.
