the WEIRD thing is... and this is how life works, cuz it's all just a huge joke in the end... the whole universe...

but it's like... the only TRUE pyschics, people who actully DO see the future, are people who don't believe in "supersitious nonsense" like pychics.

i didn't find god until i became an athiest. then i did. only i tell myself i'm delusional b/c after all... i'm pretty insane, and it's all likely drug induced hallucniations... but once upon a time i was studying to be a minister (true story, my dad was one)... and i never saw or felt or heard god.

long struggle thru paganism agnosticism and finally atheism.

and THEN....

suddenly... it call became clear. not in the "there is no god" way, but in, surprisingly "there IS a god, only it's now that you think it is... it's like the punchline to a good joke, surprising".

for instance, if god were to incarnate, i feel he'd ONLY do so as an atheist, who doesn't believe in himself... b/c that reflect the truth of this struggle of life as we try to find ourselves, doesn't it? it's the REAL experience of being "down here."

not believing in yourself.

so, i... being the world's hugest atheist after so long a struggle.... arrived at the obvious fact that i am in fact god, only i'm crazy.

We see the creator by what he has created, we hear him by means of His word the Bible, we feel him in our hearts when we take in true knowledge of Him and his purpose for mankind. But if you mean in a literal sense, the answer is no, for the Bible says that no man may see God and live, which indicates that His glory is so great, that as mere imperfect humans we could not look upon Him and survive. Which makes sense considering that we cannot look directly at the sun without it blinding us and yet God made it as well as millions more that are bigger. So if we cannot look upon the creation with the naked eye, how can we possibly look upon the creator?

God spoke to me when my (adopted) son was born. The doctor said his mother was a drug addict and he would be going into foster care, but they knew he would have a hard time finding a family because he was a drug baby. As he was speaking everything stop and I felt God tell me Zach was my son and I need to protect him and raise him in a home where he'd know Him. It seemed like I was standing there for a lifetime, but before the doctor finished his sentence I said "I'll take him" My family thought I was nuts until I told them why. 8 days of detox he came home with me.
It was a long hard court battle but WE WON!!!!
I am SO glad I listened and adopted Zach!!!

Yeah, just tonight for example at an intercessory prayer session, I "felt that the Lord was telling me to pray for Unity in the Body of Christ", so I got a scripture ready to read(John 17) and then the meeting started and the leader said " I feel the Lord is calling us to pray especially for Unity in the Body of Christ Right now"!

I couldn't wait to tell her I had "heard" the same thing! She even had the same scripture ready. And I hardly know her and we never talked before the meeting! That kind of thing is not uncommon for us.

Yes, felt Him. Maybe I think I heard Him...can't honestly say I've seen Him...but maybe caught a glimpse here and there.

I thinking feeling His presence is the easiest, for even shmucks like me can have that.

But, you know, I can't prove a bit of it to the person standing right next to me. Yet I think the individual can prove all to him/herself.

He is all around- if you are willing to open yourself to Him. I have maybe not seen, but felt, heard Him before. He is real and He is out there, all you have to do is seek Him and you will find Him.

I know God through his creation: I see God in a baby's cheerful and innocent eyes, I feel god w/ the love of my friends and family, and I hear God whenever somebody says "i love you"
