I'm just wondering 'cause next summer I might be doing it and I wanted to know what ya all thought.

if you are a dancer hell yes loved that...but the acting and singing are all really easy

like all theater a lot depends on the theater company I saw some of the previews on tape and the dance was amazing but thats all there was. A local company with lesser dancers ( or not as well choreographed) might come off as lackluster

I wouldn't say it's a total blast, but it's a pretty fun show if the cast is right.

I am not sure I find it to be a blast. But as long as you are getting paid for performing in this play, who cares?

My daughter did it this summer... The play rocks. Not really a great story but it's about the singing and dancing!!!

I'm not saying that you shouldn't do it, but in general it takes a special kind of guy to get interested in any kind of "play" or theater in general.
And even then, I'm not sure that they would describe it as "....a total blast."
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure about this one.

My daughter's highschool just did the play "Footloose" and they all had a ball.. have fun..
