Strawberries are have a natural acid to whiten up teeth. I read once in a magazine that Catherine Zeta Jones uses this method. I do too, and it really works. :)

One cause of having (permanently) discolored teeth is to have thick enamel. This is a good thing. Perfectly white teeth are not a good thing.
On an interesting tangent, you know the flouride in toothbrushes is provided because of the large number of carbonated drinks? The acid in carbonated beverages eats away the calcium in teeth, and the flouride takes it's place, providing a stronger bond than the calcium did to the new elements. Of course this means brushing your teeth with a flouride paste is useless you brush immediately after having a soft-drink.
Now, back on topic, one household provision, which I never bothered to research the why, is to brush with baking soda. No idea what it does to the teeth, but past personal experience says it works...
On another tangent, the whitest whites are actually blue.

If you want to learn the secrets to successful teeth whitening this may be the most important letter you have ever read.
Teeth whitening resources are widly available as shown...
Professional bleaching is the most common form of tooth whitening. Your dentist will be able to tell you if you are suitable for the treatment, and will supervise it if you are. First the dentist will put a rubber shield or a gel on your gums to protect the soft tissue. They will then apply the whitening product to your teeth, using a specially made tray which fits into your mouth like a gum-shield.

The ‘active ingredient’ in the product is usually hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide. As the active ingredient is broken down, oxygen gets into the enamel on the teeth and the tooth colour is made lighter.

little sister, flossing is going to make your teeth white, but for sure it will make them and keep them clean.
every one has a certain level of whiteness of their teeth that one is born w/ and by regular brushing and cleaning you can maintain that whiteness.
however, by artificial ways we can make our teeth even whiter then their natural whiteness. there are some many products in the market these days. now a days, people also use lasers to whiten their teeth,,,
good luck,,,,,and keep brushing em twice a day and flossing

Try Rembrandt Teeth Whitener. I used it, the kind where you use trays and whitener and alternate every 20 minutes. It worked really well and in one day! Just make sure you don't drink dark drinks, like cola and coffee or make sure you brush right after drinking them.
