See a doctor. There are oral medications that require a blood test. There are also topical creams that can help (not as effective as taking a pill). You should speak to the doctor. By the way, over the counter preparations do not work, so save the money for the prescription.

You may have a condition called candida albicans, or candida as it is commonly known. Candida alibicans is a fungus that exists in the intestinal tract of most healthy individuals. Yet this fungus can over populate when given ideal conditions, and cause far ranging complications. This is a very elusive disorder which most medical doctors allopathic physicians fail to recognize (for many reasons which would ultimately undermine their authority and lead to expensive lawsuits... it is actually illegal for MD's to diagnose candida in some states). My advice would be to research all aspects of Candida, and should you be convinced, make an appointment with a reputable naturopathic doctor or an open minded MD. Of course, this route is a holistic approach, but I have seen tremendous results and overall health improvements with complementary therapy. Good luck and take care :)

Tea tree oil. You can find it in most pharmacies in the section where vitamins and herbal products are sold. It can take a long time (sometimes as long as 3 months) but if you apply it faithfully twice a day, it works. From what I understand Lamisil is also excellent.

Lamisil works, It worked for me on my toenail. Get a prescription from your Doctor. It takes long enough for the nail to grow out.
