I have a 03 trailblazer. I installed a 791xv viper alarm. The car wont start now. Today while I was driving, the security light on the dash board turned on. Now that I try to start it, it wont start. The thing is that I dont have the keyless entry for the stock alarm. How do I solve this problem

You should never try to install an aftermarket alarm on a car with a stock security system. You could fry the body control module or the engine computer. You'll have to take the vehicle to a mechanic to get this sorted out. In the future, take this stuff in to get it installed. The electronics of a new car can cost upwards of $5000. The cost of getting it done right is well worth it.

You can install a after market alarm even if your car came equiped oem with an alarm, but it must be completely removed from the cars electrical circuit. There is usually two control boards for the alarm which came with your vehicle, one in the trunk and one under the hood. Each has its own function and one may not have been disconnected. consult your dealer to fix the problem with starting. Then take it to a reputable car electronics shop to isolate all the oem alarm componets. This will cost alot of money.

Walter is totally correct. Check your owner's manual. It tells you that!
