Actually, Marrying an American will NOT make that person legal!
It costs ALOT of $ to file. But, we GOOD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS will see to it that you get filed for "free!"
I know this for a fact cause my brother married a BIT-- from the UK........... Long story there, but, marrying an ILLEGAL doesnt MAKE them legal!
Applying for the green card then u would have to go thru ur country?

yes sure you need to have extraordinary talents and get issued a certain type of visa, as soon as you get there you can try applying for a green card.

visit the national visa center website and the spplication process is there

you can 1) get your friend a tourist visa and once he/she is here apply for fiance visa
2) apply for k3 I believe is the acronym
3) apply for green card
4) marrythem in their country and start proceedings there
