White Zin goes well with your drain. Pour it down the sink and never buy any more...

Depends on the winery but probably not white zinfandel. Another rose wine would go well but think about the combination this way.

White Zinfandel tastes basically like cotton candy. Do you want to drink cotton candy when eating lasagna?

Try going with a rose wine from a European country instead of White Zinfandel. Anything from Portugal or France will pair nicely.

A red one would probably be better, however, if the lasagne is very rich in a cheesy and/or creamy way you could be excused for drinking something non-red with it, perhaps not a white zin though (may be too soft). You'd want something like a dry Rose or better yet an aromatic white with lots of crisp acidity to contrast the rich lasagne. something like a; Verdehlo, Gewurztraminer, etc, etc.

Pasta dishes do best with a room temp red wine: burgundy, cabernet etc. If you do not like room temp wines, I would suggest a chilled white merlot ... semi sweet but on the dry side. I think it would do well with your lasagne! bon appetite!

I don't give a rat's behind about what wine goes with what food--I drink what I like, when I like. I think White Zin is good with ANYTHING, ANYTIME.
