The roaches are outside, but thanks for the concern.

No. Cats are perfectly safe in eating roaches. Crunchy and full of protein, they are. Unless your cat is vomiting them up or suddenly gets sick from them (which is highly unlikely), then kitty may eat all the roaches availible. You also don't have to look at them then.

Well, my cats tend some times to eat moths, grasshoppers, and other small bugs. It hasn't hurt them in any way, so I don't think eating a roach would do any more damage. It's part of a cats natural hunting ability. Some just feel the need to eat the insects they catch. As far as I know, it doesn't give them anything bad or they wouldn't continue to eat it.

It's not uncommon for cats to eat bugs. Mine do it all the time. It's gross but it's the nature of a cat. Just make sure the cat doesn't get sick from it. Unfortunately there's not much you can do to stop the cat from eating the roaches.

My cat eats bugs, too. It's strange since she's so finicky otherwise. She doesn't eat spiders or flies. I don't know if she eats roaches or not, but so far, the bugs don't hurt her.
I once was dog-sitting for my neighbor and his goofy dog apparently ate a LARGE amount of June bugs and then recycled them all over the neighbor's deck. It was disgusting but he was ok after a day of having a tummy ache.

If roaches are the only bug or living thing you have seen your cat eat, then consider yourself lucky

It makes me smile thinking of how cats will do that sort of thing and then be so regal and royal like they are here to be served, just after they ate a roach.

Maybe. The roaches could have been recently sprayed with Raid or something.

You need to keep kitty indoors. Much safer that way. But no it doesnt hurt the kitty to eat the roaches.

Yes Roaches carry germs and could possibly kill your cat by giving it a nasty infection
