It never works to have a baby to save a relationship. This new little person is very demanding! In order to be a good parent you have to be able to put that baby's needs before your own. If you just aren't there yet then maybe you should surrender that baby to the care of someone who is. Maybe when you are more ready it won't seem so overwhelming. Sometimes the best thing that you can do for your child is realize they deserve more than you can provide at this time. Love isn't enough and what happens to them now determines thier future. Best of Luck

I can't imagine getting pregnant and choosing to raise the baby myself just to keep a guy. If the relationship is shaky already, having a baby will make it worse. Adoption is the loving option. Difficult, but it gives the baby the chance for a better life.

But, a lot of girls choose to keep babies b/c they think it's someone who'll love them, but babies are born very selfish creatures (they have to be), it's only through being raised that they learn to think of other people. Yeah, sure, a newborn looking up at mom while eating you can tell he loves mom, but....it's not the same as 2 grown people being friends or anything. I found out I was pregnant, was an accident, I didn't think I could get pregnant without help, and briefly I did think it might draw the father and I closer together. But, in the end, I chose to raise my son b/c it's what I knew God wanted me to do. It just felt right in my gut. And I haven't looked back. But if I had kept him for a man, I would've ended up resentful.

Give the baby up for adoption. It did not ask to be brought into this world and it deserves better.

family pressure, religion, because abortion isn't available, because you found out too late, because you can't afford an abortion. the reasons are endless-you shouldn't judge. to each their own, it's a hard decision either way you look at it but at the end of the day the women are ENTITLED to make that decision.
