My boyfriend is 29, and he doesn't seem to have much of a sex drive, I know he masterbates daily (Ive noticed he looks at porn daily). But I think it might be that fact that he smokes pot. He also suffers from Bipolar, so I was wondering if either of these 2 things could be the reason he doesnt seem that interested in sex (only wants it once or twice a week- I only see him a few times a week). Ive tried talking to him about it, he says he is attracted to me, and loves me etc. But won't say much more than that about it.

Marijuana lowers a man's sperm count but not his sex drive. If he's gawking at porn daily instead of your naked body then I feel he's not being truthful with you about his feelings. Also love and attraction can be platonic (non-sexual).

Both can lower sex drive..but there's another issue here..If he's Bipolar....this is a very serious disorder..and can have wide ranges of effects on all aspects of the persons life including those who are closest to them. My advice is to talk to him and I recommend that he lay off the drugs..this may help..he may be self medicating if he's not seeing a professional for the bipolar disorder.

It sounds to me like your man has some sexual issues. Once or twice a week intercourse, but he is materbating and it sounds like it's often. It's doesn't sound like a low sex drive it sounds like he likes to masterbate. I know people who have smoked marijuana and it didn't seem to inhibit their sex drive. But it might. Depression can definately lower a sex drive, but if he is materbating it sounds like he is getting plenty of release.

Omg. ALL of that can cause it. Pot causes a man to lose his sex drive and his potency for getting a woman pregnant. Mental issues that are unmedicated are just as bad.

Depression can definetly lower a man or woman's sex drive. I think his real problem is that he is masturbating daily, that's why he doesn't want sex.

drugs can do that.... and, if hes bipolar, he prolly doesnt wanna have sex when hes depressed..... cause, hes prolly not really thinking about that....
