We have a new female doctor in the ER where I work. She is very attractive, polite and we have great conversations. I think she likes me so I was going to ask her out, but another buddy of mine said, "Timmy don't do it. That girl is bad news, dude. She's seen more ceilings than Michelangelo. She's as worn out as a cucumber in a convent."

Now I am as confused as a hungry baby in a topless bar.
What should I do?
10 points to whomever gives me the best advice or gets me a date.

Your friend could just be "hating" or feel jealous towards you that's why he's probably acting like that. He's probably just trying to tell you all these bad things, so you won't have a chance with her. Do what YOUR heart feels. YOU need to feel her out for yourself. Even though what he is saying might be true, it is not 100% factual information.
-Get to know the girl for who she is. She may be a completely different person from what your friend says.
-Talk to her, run conversation with her, ask her a few questions, you know, just get to know her. All of this, allows you to determine what a person may be like- through her words, mannerisms, behaviors, the way she talks to you and all of that.
-Good luck and just do what you wanna do. ****However, "keep your guard up" because what he is telling you may actually be true.

well the only way you will find out is by getting to know her. Go ahead and talk to her (doesn't mean you have to sleep with her). Ask her out on a date and feel her out. You will be able to tell if that rumor is true or not. And while you are at it you just might want to keep some other girls on dial just in case it doesn't work out. That's what dating is all about.

your buddy probably had a bad experience with her himself. The only way you going to find out if you had a bad/good experience is experience yourself. Don't worry about what your buddy thinks. The best experience is when you experience yourself.

Who knows what you're "buddy" knows. go ahead, ask her out. if it doesn't work out, it wasn't meant to be. if you truly like her, you should just be able to invite her to dinner or something. do something simple, like a movie or something.
