If you can't bring yourself to do it, that is Satan attacking you, wanting you to stay in his prey and he will do anything to keep you from Christ. Just say a simple prayer, "Jesus, I know you died for my sins on the cross. I believe in you. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and save me." You will see the difference in your life that Christ can make - don't let Satan win this one in your life.

It is sometimes fearful to make a commitment to something when you don't know what the end result will be. But you can know what the end result of accepting Christ as your savior. You will find peace that you have never known. You will experience forgiveness for every sin you have ever committed. You will be give the gift of eternal life so that when you die you will spend eternity with God and loved ones who also accepted Jesus. You will have the Holy Spirit to guide you to truth and help you understand the Bible. Jesus will be you best friend. There is nothing to loose here and nothing to fear. It will be the best decision of your life. I accepted Jesus when I was 9 years old. My mother had died when I was 7 and I was lonely and He has filled my life with everything I needed. He gave me all I wanted. I have a wonderful husband, 4 great kids, and a wonderful career. I have never been lonely again. The guilt is all gone... and I know where I am going.... Have you read the Bible? Read St John chapter 3... and you will learn how much He loves you.

Just getting on your knees isn't enough to become saved. You are saved after you are born again through baptism.
You must also repent of your sins (Acts 2:38)
Confess them and be baptized, like the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:36-39.
In Colossians 2:12-13, Paul speaks of being buried with Jesus through baptism, being raised from sin.
Becoming a Christian is extremely important for you to go to Heaven. You could die any moment, leaving you with no chance left. One website, www.goodfight.com, can help you find a local congregation of those following the Bible to help you learn more about what to do.
Don't be like Agrippa who was "almost persuaded" in Acts chapter 26 to be come a Christian. Follow through with it.

I can't persuade you to ask Jesus to save you, but what I can do is let you know Jesus loves you very, very much.
Jesus came to this earth and was sacrificed for our sins and wrong doings. He was beaten, spit on, mocked, hung on a cross and it was His love that held Him there. Do you know that if you had been the only one earth He still would of died for you because He loves you that much. You are precious to Him..........you are His treasure and He says " He isnt willing that any of his people suffer" He wants so much to have a close personal relationship with you......He is right there knocking on your door and all you have to do is open it and invite Him into your life and heart.
I know that it seems scarey giving total control of your life to Jesus, but I can assure once you do that your life will never be the same again. Im not gonna tell you that things will be easy because God never promised us that life would be easy, but He did promise that He would be along for the ride and help us through it. He will bless you abundantly and always be there with and for you.
I urge to take that step and take Jesus as your Lord and ask Him to save you. It will be the best thing you could ever do for yourself. remember Jesus Loves YOU and you are a treasure to Him and always will be.
God bless you!

I agree, why is it so not user-friendly to shake a jesus based christian into laying down their ego (or casting their satisfaction aside) and getting on their knees and asserting expensive top writer thank you lots for letting me Be. I see now that I certainly have continuously been unfastened and that i refuse to stay with a manipulative business enterprise that would not even properly interpret its very own preachings. I understand that Jesus grew to become into an start up of an archaic term and he in simple terms needed the human beings to make certain and that's what he died for, because of the fact he had no concern of death and his love grew to become into all encompassing. I too have not any concern of death and prefer Jesus desire human beings to make certain that forgiveness is fundamental. That the marvelous Energies exist and that i shouldn't cut back my information to any religious business enterprise that binds my love and could, given to me by using you the single. I certainly have the skill to circulate previous memories and open my EYES to the internal workings of the Universe and the skill proficient upon me to meditate and heal my Self by using You. sure why can not human beings open their eyes to reality and Love it quite is UNION and introduction, and go beyond this Earthly pretend-actuality and their textile bodies to hook up with others at bigger frequencies and settle for AND LOVE their Souls.

If there is no God, no penalty. If there is, major penalty. It's about blind faith. There is one certain truth---Nobody but nobody knows for sure if there is life after death because noone has died and come back to report to us. People who discount the possibility of spiritual life, are simple minded people who deny the existence of God in order to justify their lifestyles. They have little understanding of the delicate balance of the cosmos that allow us to exist and breathe. Even science points to a creator rather than the universe coming into existence by an act of random chaos. To me, the idea that we evolved from a soupy pond of scum is so ludicrous that I cant believe people buy into it. I'll tell you this, you should figure it out for yourself because there is noone in this world who gives a damn about you other than your mother.

Maybe there is a reason you can't bring yourself to do it.I won't tell you not to,but maybe you should think about whether it really feels right to you,or if you're ready to do it.I don't believe in all that myself, but I have been there. It worked for me for a while, but only when that was what I really wanted.Otherwise, you'll just end up feeling guilty all the time for not giving it your all.

You will have non-believers tell you not to do it (as some already have in the answers), and you will have believers tell you "yes, do it!". Personally, my advice is to find a good Bible-teaching church and talk with members & the pastor. Attend the church regularly, pray for God to touch you in His way and the rest will fall into place. Prayer is the MOST IMPORTANT in this. FYI, prayer doesn't have to be 'fancy' or 'worded right'.....its nothing more than a conversation with God. Talk to Him as you would your best friend, open & honest....afterall, He already knows everything anyway!

I can't persuade you to do anything. Quite frankly, it doesn't sound like it feels right to you, like it didn;t for me. Give it some time, maybe it is the Truth for you. But if it isn't, find something else that is.

Listen to the fourteenth person to answer you, rejoiceinthelord. I can testify to everything she says about the fear of committing to the unknown, as well as the peace, joy, and lifechanging relationship with the LORD. It was the best decision and the best day of my life!
