I think they were so in tune with God and locating Heaven that nothing else in the world mattered. Not the people on Yahoo! Answers, TV, nobody.

..the Holy One took Enoch
When Lucifer chose to leave his place in heaven and to dwell in the vicinity of the earth...
this left a vacant spot in heaven
in order to be complete
the Holy One took Enoch and placed him in that place
hence: all mystical traditions emanate through and with Enoch
