How could it not be the USA? I'm a French immigrant myself. So are all Americans except for the Native Americans. Not only that but I feel as long as you speak English, there's no reason you shouldn't be allowed to be here. When you work legally you pay taxes and you're supporting the economy and state that is essentially supporting you. So with the criteria that you set, living here legally and speaking English, yes, it's still the USA.

The concept of America is not based upon one race or another or one religion or another, that's what makes this country great, our diversity.
It is those who have issues with race that make it so. And yes, if America had 100 million Chinese migrate here, we would still be America. We would just have a lot more Chinese, but hell I love Chinese food!

In 1920 we did have a over population of Asian coming over here. I do believe in that time we started to have a law to mandate the proper people from other country's of coming over.
So regardless if it was 10,000 monkeys yes it will still be USA.

Yes. There are 20 million illegals here now, and it's still the USA. So what's your point?

yes, but it would take a long time because there is a limit each year as to how many legal immigrants can come to our country

Gee, Pancha - that sure sounds like a "racist" question, to me....
Anyways, if they spoke English and were legal....I would say, yes, this would still be the USA!

Yeah just just because a certain amount of people immigrate here doesn't mean that it isn't America anymore.

Well, one thing that might change is that the labels on all the stuff we buy would now read, "Made In The USA."
