Regular conditioner on dry hair can weigh it down and look oily. A leave in conditioner is light, can be used as a detangler, no need to rinse, helps with frizzies/flyaways, and heat damage. Infusium 23 makes a great leave in conditioner.

A leave in conditioner is just that...specially formulated to leave in your hair. Regular conditioner will weigh down the hair and be nasty...collect oil, dirt etc.

Leave-in conditioners, thinner, containing different surfactants, adding only a little material to the hair. They are based on unsaturated chains, which are bent rather than straight. This shape makes them less prone to crystallizing, making a lighter, less viscous mixture and providing significantly thinner layer on the hair. The difference between leave-in and pack conditioners is similar to the difference between fats and oils.
I do hope this helps

Leave in conditioner, is a spray conditioner that you spray in your hair after shampooing it's especially designed to detangle, protect, and strengthen your hair, well thats supposed to be it's purpose! It's used in exchange for rinse out conditioner.
I wouldn't reccomend using regular conditioner as leave in because I would think it would leave it greasy.

It is a conditoner that you can put in your hair after you wash it and you don't have to rinse out. Biolage has a great one Hydra Creme. You can try regular conditioners but they leave a yucky waxy build up on your hair...

No, the conditioner is a rub or spray that you place on your hair when it is damp. This just gives it some extra protection against the sun, brushing, etc.
Is use the Aussie product they sell that is a spray on.

It is a conditioner that you put in your hair and it does not to be washed out.
You can not put in regular conditioner and just leave it in because it makes your hair greasy.

I use Infusium 23. It's a light weight spray in, is available for different types of hair, and helps tangles too. Just spray all over and comb as normal. Just rubbing any type in would weigh your hair down and make it look greasy.
