I think it means the same thing when they say that they'll love you forever... They mean it in the moment, however, you don't really know what's going to happen in the future. He simply said something very sweet - something that should just be taken with a grain of salt.

Normally a guy won't say this type of things to his gf. It actually depends on whether u chose to believe him or not. If there is such a day tt comes and he is willing to die for U, then he is a good bf. If he chose to abondon U, then U will be able to see his true colours. I can't really comment on wat your bf had told U coz some of them is willingly to die for their gf while others is just sweet talk only. So the decision is up to U if u chose to believe your bf or not.

It's an extreme thing to say, and as is the case with all extreme statements, it is usually untrue. He probably told you that so that you'd be more into him... seems like this guy is trying to play Casanova with his words. If my boyfriend told me that, I'd hand him a knife and ask him to slit his wrists for me and you know what, I bet you 99% of the guys wouldn't do it. I wouldn't take him too seriously if I were you. I suppose..it's a "sweet" line. I personally don't like it, ..just kinda seems all fake then. & knowing that he has said it to his ex before too...your bf really likes to risk his life. ><" hahaha..but if you like it..so be it. don't overthink it ^^

nope unless he's suicidal he aint dying for nobody but his children maybe someday put you and him in a friday the 1th flick and i guarantee he'd leave you behind for jason to get you while he gets away
