Oh yes it is! All states have strong CS laws. You are obligated to support the children you fathered, or in the case of a noncustodial mother - you are also obligated to pay child support.

A court order in Ilinois is valid in Washington State. You may think you can skip by moving, but your obligation will catch up with you.

It takes two to make a baby and the two of you should be equally involved. The father should pay support even if there was no law that told him he had to!
