My daughter just got a real bad sunburn too...peeling and everything.. I put a blue gel on it that has menthol and lydocaine. These are numbing analgestics. I forgot what it's called. You can find this gel and other similar gels (aloe) with the sunblock lotions, etc. The itching you are feeling is your skin healing and repairing itself. Also...Noxema feels great too. Happy healing...kick that itch! Hope this helps!

Shower with cool or lukewarm water, not hot. Have you tried aloe vera gel? You could try taking Benadryl (pay attention to the package instructions though).
Can you think of any ways you could avoid getting a sunburn?

Aloe vera is great...Also, butter. Real butter works, but stay away from flies and take a shower before doing anything else.
