Man that's not healthy what you weigh. Hate to break that to you. I would start weight lifting to build muscle for about an hour every two days. The thing I did this past year for my resistance training was use a split system:
For example--
Because your body needs to rest every other day, you can do this:
One day, exercise all the muscles in your upper body. (arms, abs, pecks, etc.)
The next day, give your upper body the rest it needs and work your lower body. (legs, thighs, glutes)
Continue this and within 6 weeks u should really have gained some extra pounds and plenty of muscle! I did this plan for 9 weeks, 5 days a week, and i went from bench pressing about 20 pounds, 10 reps (gimme a break i'm 13 lol) but by the end of the 9 weeks i could do 50 pounds 10 times. i know thats not a lot, but i'm a 13 year old girl and i was proud of myself! lol!
Good Luck let me know how this works kaylalovesnate@yahoo.com

I am doing this exact thing at the moment.
I am 23, 140 pounds, 6 ft 0
I am eating a LOT of protein. Mostly Tuna. You have to eat a gram of protein per pound that you currently weigh.
You must also be working out the correct way. Lifting weights can either make you bigger, or trim you down depending on how you are lifting.
What you need to do is put so many weights on the bar that you can only do 6-8 reps per set (3 sets total). This will make you gain mass. If you are able to do more than 6-8 reps, that means you don't have enough weights on the bar, and you are only trimming yourself down.
Another thing... You have to be giving your body enough rest. 8 hours a night, and also give yourself 2 days inbetween each workout. So if you do Chest workouts on Monday, you have to wait until Thursday to do them again.
I have been doing the following days for my workouts: Chest, Legs, Abs, Arms, Back.
Keep doing this for about a half year to a year, and you will be much bigger, and all muscle!
Any more questions, feel free to ask! Good luck

perfect weight for a female who's 5'4" and has hit puberty (which i'm advantageous you have)... is between 108 and a hundred forty five lbs. You weigh a hundred and ten lbs. you're nice. truly, in case you lose 3 lbs you would be medically underweight. Out of the recommendations you gave, i could say you're "skinny." merely be certain you do no longer grow to be skeletal.

I would eat a lot protein and work out A LOT. Increase fat and calorie intake, but not through JUNK FOOD. Eat lots of vitamins. Try protein shakes, and don't forget to work out A LOT!!!
Oh! And be sure to do more muscle building workouts instead of cardio workouts. Cardio workouts will make your heart stronger and lose fat, but in your case I wouldn't say that this is necessary.

There are a lot of factors to why you can't gain weight. It could be in your genes. But, a healthy way to gain wieght is start drinking Ensure. It is a liquid drink recommended by a lot of doctors. You can find it at most pharmacys. But, like most wieght gain, weight loss programs check with your doctor first.

uhhh...eat a lot and do a lot of body building excersise to go with it.
It annoys me how we weigh about the same and you're freaking skinny and trying to gain weight, and I'm on the heavier side and trying to AT LEAST keep my weight where it is. Then again, I'm a girl and I'm at least a good foot shorter than you.

You should eat all kind of variety of foods including foods with carbohydrate which you can get in rice, bread, pasta..etc. Protein in milk, egg,..etc. You shouldn't forget also to take vitamins, more water, eliminate,EXERCISE,sleep, check your weight, and visit your doctor even once a year. And if you do these you would get the best result.

I think you are the product of genetics and there is nothing you can do about it. My boyfriend was 130 through high school and was 6'2" which is pretty skinny. if you are 110 then you are unfortunately a product of genetics. protein shakes won't work as you will probably only poop them out.

Damn ... that doesn't sound healthy. I'm 17 too, a girl, 5'9 and 120, and I thought that was skinny. I have no idea, maybe you should ask a doctor, I've heard of doctors giving prescription medications to very thin people to gain weight.
