I have been single for about 3 years. I never meet anyone I would consider dating. I just feel I will always be single and never truly get over my ex. I was almost over him then 1 year ago he called from Iraq and told me he was engaged. I hadn't spoke to him for 6 months prior to that and on my way to getting over him. I don't understand why he needed to contact me if he had moved on. We spoke the whole time he as there and I saw him when he came back and told him it wasn't fare to me or her to keep talking. He kept calling so I changed my phone #. Anybody been through anything like this?

Dont think its all your fault because it takes two to tangle. He probably just wanted to upset you by telling you he was engaged. Its good you changed your number but its still gonna take time to get over him. Try and relax but still date others you might find you someone to get engaged to. I been thru it all so take good from this advice.

Time honey, some longer then others. Try to busy yourself with friends, hobbies that interest you, exercise, prayer, and most of all let yourself cry as you need to. It will get better.
