This guy told my best friend I was cute and funny and smart and he said he knew I liked him, but he thought of my as "just a friend" (Classic, right?). Whenever I'm around him he starts to whisper to his friend or is uneasy and there is major tension. After or during the time he is whispering to his friend, he glances my way until I catch him looking. I can't help but have a feeling he might have just told my friend that or because he said it is now REALLY uneasy. What do you think? Am I just over examining things and paranoid?

Just act completely disinterested in the guy....if he knows your not into him anymore he will come crawling back. People always seem to want what they can't have. Either way, you should move on from the guy and find somebody else to like.

you are over examining things. he may be lying but i say take his word for what its worth. if he is lying, you don't want to be with a guy who plays games. if he isn't then he isn't. move on.
