I have a 13 year old who thinks she is 17. All she does is complain, moan and groan. She is so spoiled by her Grandma that is is pathetic. We bought her a purse that cost 27.00, she used it for a while before she decided that she wanted a new one. She only used it for a bout 1 month. Now she got her Grandma to buy her another one. Same purse but different color. Go figure. She has to drive her Grandma more crazier than she does me, because now her Grandma is buying her a new skirt that is about 30.00. So yes, i do have a teenager, that i am trying to raise the right way. She is however a good kid, she doesnt get into any trouble, and she does do what we tell her to do, most of the time. But she does drive me CRAZY!!!!!!!!!

Teenagers are very moody (Hormonal changes) and trying to assert their independence, but still unable to fully accept adult responsibilities and consequences for their behaviors. As long as the teen is under the roof of the parent -- they need to RESPECT that parent and obey the house rules.

So yes, all parents have their teenagers drive them crazy at times. It is part and parcel of having to raise them past that stage and get them into responsible adulthood that is a challenge!

yes, let her do anything she wants, no restrictions and come and go as she sees fit. Trust her with the family car.
Give her extra spending money. She will think she has died and went to heaven. Oh and have over all the girl friends she wants
and boy friends. Fruit is not desert feed her cake.
And no restrictions for bed time. It's ten I have to get off here.
Good Night That would make one easy to get along with teenager. Wouldn't it guys?

Depends on how they are driving you crazy, if it is back talk ignore them unless they speak with respect, if it is music turn yours up louder, if it is clothes you are the adult buying them so YOU have the final say, if they won't clean their room a black trash bag woks wonders, and last but not least no allowance, phone, tv stereo or anything else usually gets the point across. My 14 year old has tested us to the limits and she is finally seeing we are bigger.
