I think it would be cool if a girl asked a guy as this supposed to be a country of equal rights.It just makes things a little bit easier on the shy and quiet type of people men and women alike there is no shame in girls letting a guy know that they are interested .

In this modern world I believe it's alright for a girl to ask a guy out. I have heard that some guys like the girl them to ask them out since it shows that the girl is really interested in that guy and not saying yes when the guy asks the girl out so the guys feelings don't get hurt.

Why not? Maybe a girl should face the fear of rejection and the excitement of possibilities just like a guy (making the first move is hard & scary because you don't know what the other person will say or do.).
Usually the guy is required to make the first move because guys can be fickle, and girls want to know whether the guy is serious. By some guys can be shy.
Why not try it and see what happens?

I'd say go for it and ask the guy. You shouldn't wait for him. and some guys even like when the girl asks because then they dont have 2 face the fear of rejection.

Girls can ask guys out...I mean, it's 2006 and things have changed. If you really like him ask him out. I have asked guys out and at first it seemed awkward, but then it starts to sink in.

Sometimes waiting is best, but that's not always the case. Well, if the guy that I'm presuming you like, doesn't know that you like him, you should let him know. Then wait to see what his response is. If he doesn't ask you out then you'll know that he doesn't ike you.

depends on what the girl looks like. If she is very ugly then she may aswell go ahead and ask guys out because no guy is gonna ask her out.

I think you should let him ask you out,unless he's the really shy type.If he's not,tell him you like him.Guys like to do the chasing after the girls,not the other way around.All of my guy friends tell me that.

You can ask the guy. Just be prepared for him to say no, and be prepared to pay for the date. Guys do it all the time.
