I was brought up to respect women and treat them fairly. I have heard all the theories about why women like being treated like crap. It's 2006, do they really need to be "protected" by males? It is a evolutionary leftover that can't be erased? Why do they say they want to be treated fairly, yet meatheads with G.E.D.s and skull tattoos get women, while I get the cold shoulder? What do you think?

I think that some people mistake aggressiveness for assertiveness.

I.E.: she thinks that an agressive person will protect her.

I hope someone with the answer to this comes through. I have wondered this for years. I have been told on several occations that I treat women too nice???? WHAT? But, once I was dating this woman and she had an attitude, I yelled at her and she was just as sweet as honey. I don't get it. Are women really into being treated like crap?

I swear, someone already asked this question. I don't see a lot of women with guys that treat them like garbage, its more like women wanting to be in control all the time.
