Television makes things tolerable, more easy on the eyes, a general norm. If we see gays on television constantly, often paired with heterosexual couples, it forms slight variation in the mind. The more we see it, the more its not foriegn. And besides, its another way the network can get their diversity quota filled without having to hire the token black or mexican

In the end the majority is happy

I don't know, but I'm surely getting tired of it. In no way am i against homosexuality to the point where I'll try to defame one. I even have a few friends who are homosexuals. But at the same time i don't agree with the life style. Just because you hate the sin, doesn't mean that you have to hate the sinner.

I don't think it's that TV is "promoting" homosexuality. It's just that it's entered our mainstream of consciousness and is less taboo than it once was. If you look back at earlier TV shows and movies, there were always cross-dressing men or men kissing other men, albeit comically. Because our generation is more used to homosexuality, TV is more comfortable showing homosexuals as more serious characters.

its the same thing as having a show with people of different ethnicities.

besides, tv shows are finally realizing how many homosexual people there are. tv shows always want to get more viewers, and including homosexuals increases their amount of viewers who can relate to the characters and will be more likely to watch it.

in a ever changing world and the things more people are wiling to accept it is only going to be natural that things like these are going to be aired on tv to give people a bigger insight to just how these people have been degraded and abused because of their sexual preference I believe in live and let live as ong as they don't try to convert me then they have their way of life and I have mine there is no need to be biast against them as they are after all human beings too.

I agree with you totally. It is like they are promoting homosexuality. Not only that, but every show, every commercial, and every movie is heavily draped with illicit sex. I don't know what is going on.
