It is well established that Adam and Eve had a third son after Cain slew Able and they banished Cain. This son was named Seth and is credited with the generations of Adam and Eve that ensued. Cain went off and bred with wierd races to create a non-pure race. Some say a race of monsters ( read BEOWOLF)

in beowolf, the first english novel, there is a monster that eats the viking-like people. he is talked about as being one of the progeny of cain. the old myths about goblins and trolls etc all are supposedly from the mixing of the blood of cain with hideous humans that cain bred with. Cain was evil and sent away fro killing his brother and supposedly stared the whole race of killer humans and other sub-human types.
Seth should be a more important figure in the talk of the christians. yes the bible makes brief mention but I never hear an christian expound on him and what he did etc. They speak of cain and able but never seth. yet Seth is more important because he survived and formed the race of people we all claim to be part of.
Nobody wants to be from CAIN, the evil one. So we must all be from SETH.

I don't why you would say that Christians no mention Seith. Through Seith came the seed line through Noah and through his son Shem came Abraham then Issac then Jacob and the 12 tribes of Israel. Out of the tribe of Judah came David and from David to the Lord Jesus Christ who died for our sins on the cross. The only Christians that don't know about Seth are the ones that don't study their Bible. 2 Timothy 2: 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

That is just plain silly! There wasn't any wierd races.
There was however a bunch of sisters. All the children adam and Eve had were not recorded. Cain married his sister.
They were grown up men when Cain killed able.
Adam and Eve were perfect and no birth control.
In all those years you think they never had any other children?
Probably had a baby every year and lived to be 900
Only those who did something were remember by Mosses some 3000 years later. Remeber this story was told by word of mouth for a very long time. It has only been 2000 years since Jesus what if there were no written record? If it was just word of mouth.
A lot of people would get forgotten.

I just read a question last week that asked about Jesus lineage. I guess everything that led up to Noah was one thing. But we are all ancestors of Noah now.

Wanna know something Cool: the Scientist in charge to the "Ink and Blood" program that has an exhibition on the origins of the Bible in Florida. His name is Dr. William H. Noah! It's at the Daytona Beach Museum of Arts and Sciences.

I'm a Christian and I was taught about Seth from my childhood. Who says Christians never mention Seth, he is a Bible character the same as all the rest.

Hello friend,
I am not clear on your point.
You are absolutely right about Seth.
And as you no doubt know, Adam and Eve had other sons and daughters too. See Gen.5:4b.
As far as Cain and his offspring, well God knows.
Blessings,
2 Tim. 2:7

Why do you think Christians don't mention Seth? Seth was the father of Enosh, who was the father of Kenan, blah blah blah, right on down to Lamech, the father of Noah.

About the weird races, they don't really matter because they were all wiped out in the flood.

I don't know, he really doesn't get mentioned hardly at all. Don't think there is anything in the bible about Cain breeding with a non-pure race is there?

It is my suspicion that Seth or Enoch had something to do with THE GREAT PYRAMID because of the special knowlege built into the it.http://members.aol.com/larrypahl/gr-pyr1.htm

Seth is in the lineage of Jesus. What are you seeking for Seth beyond the bible?
