A young girl had decided to sneak out of the house to go to a party her protective parents wouldn't allow her to go to. While she was there she hooked up with a guy she liked and they went to a local make-out spot. The guy was drinking heavily and when he got too demanding she insisted on him taking her back to the party. On the way back they crashed into another vehicle. When the girl woke up in the hospital she knew she was dying. She was told that the guy she'd been with had died in the accident and so had the couple in the other car. She begged a nurse to tell her parents how much she loved them and that she was very sorry she'd disobeyed them. The nurse just looked at her. After the girl died another nurse came on duty and asked the nurse why she hadn't said anything when the girl had asked her to give the message to her parents. The nurse said, "I didn't know what to say, the people in the other car were her parents."

When i was in Detriot once there was a plane that just took off and we heard pple talking about the shake of the windows and wondering what the big fire was. We were waiting for a friend to come home and we did nt pay any attion to what was going on. we went to dinner and on the way we saw luggae and shoes it was night time we payed no mind thought someone lost it off the roof of their car. When we tried to get back in we felt so stupid to relize it was a plane the exploded while taking off. Only one lil girl survived that night. For the longest we did not knwo if it was an out going or in comming plane we did not know if our loved one was on that plane. All we could do is wait and watch love one flood the airport. So I know what it ia like to watch something horrible and be able to do nothing. thank god not to many pple were on that plane.

Yes, last week I was researching a topic to complete one of my answers and I came upon some things that were very horrible. I researched further and found more of the same. For a few days I was not sure what to do: I felt what could I do. It was like being witness to a murder, but not being able to report it to anyone, because the chief of police had done it. Later, it dawned on me, that I would have to share with everybody what I had learned, even if it might get me in trouble.
Would you please take a look at about 8 - 10 minutes of this interview with Professor Steven Jones ? It's a 45 minute video and well worth looking at, to its end. At the very least, pass it on to those you care about.

I'm not sure what your situation is, but I came upon an overturned semi in the middle of the desert once with a man trapped inside. I think he was already dead and there was nothing I could do about it. There I was, right there with this poor guy, and there was not a single thing I could have done.
It was a horrible sight and horrible sensation that has stuck with me for years. Don't know if that relates or not.

A few weeks ago, I came upon an accident on the interstate highway. The pickup was smashed in and a body lay in the road. It had just happened and the dust was still rising. People were running over to the person to help. Traffic had stopped.
I keep thinking about it and the feeling of helplessness. I hope you are able to work through your bad feelings.

Being a Firefighter, I have seen people in different positions. We had a teenage guy trapped in a head-on collision were a passerby tried to get him out of his car but his feet were entangled in the pedals and under the dash. He burned alive before we could get there. We also had a family of 5 kids die in a farmhouse fire. One of our Firefighters was on the scene before the Firetruck because he lived close by. He burned his arms and hands trying to get in to get the kids. And we are all volunteers!

That is why I vote Pro-life regardless of the other issues out there until the Holocaust ends! And I am teaching my children this too and their unchurched Friends! My son will vote tomorrow in His first election and we are supporting a Pro-Life Democrat!

Not sure what you mean by breaking a life, but I did see a lady night after night with different bruises on her face and I couldn't turn her husband in for battery.

I watched a car run off the road once and right into a pole. To this day I never found out if she lived.

Yes, I watched two guys be mowed down by a car while walking home from church one night. They were thrown pretty far and all I could do was try to write down the license plate.
