You did a good job trying to write this question and I admire your enthusiasm for learning English! Well, in my area, there is an Amistad program at a church where I teach Spanish-speaking students English twice a week. There must be similar programs around your area. If you know about computers, you can buy cds from a computer store that teaches you english. When I was younger, my dad bought me english speaking videos. Also, make friends and always speak English with them. Keep speaking in English, and I'm sure you will improve soon!
Also, if you want, you can e-mail me or something and I can try helping you. You can write me essays/assignments and I can check them for you. You wrote the question pretty well. Here is a little better usage.
I just went back to school last year..........nervous.......when teachers ask me for assignments.......I have no idea how to write or speak properly........I'm having trouble reading and writing.

I have some advice for you. Maybe it can help you ti improve yourEnglish
Reading: Read novels, science books or any kinds of books you like. Or if you want something funny, you can creat a blog , write what you are thinking on your blog and read comments, which can help you to improve both reading and writing.
Grammar: find some trustworthy books on Grammars or you can learn online. Remember to do as many exercises as possible in order to check your grammar. You can visit this site:
www.grammar.free-esl.com
Speaking: if you can speak to native, you can chat on Yahoo to learn the way to speak in daily life because it's rather different from standard English. You can write some essays and give a talk to some of your friends. Then ask them to comment.
I hope you will succeed in imroving your English. Good luck

all you have to do is to read, write and speak English.
You also have to read a dictionary and look up the unfamiliar words. You have to study the 8 parts of speech that can help you to improve the way you construct a senc.tence.So,i f you already know the meaning of the word, you can make or construct a sentence by using of what you have learned in studying GRAMMAR.Try to make a story or something.
in speaking, Dont hesitate to speak english in front of people coz that is the way on how to arouse your self confidence.I have seen that you have to have a self confidence. It's okay if you've got an error,we all know that everyone makes a mistake!
a person who doesntmake a mistake is a person who doesnt do anything.
STUDY the grammar and speak english even if it is grammatically wrong. If somebody corrected you,you just have to admit it.
If you have no error there's no learning.
Good luck@!

This is just a suggestion, but could you join in with an "English as a Second Language" class at a school near where you live? That will start you back at the basics, and is often free - depending on what your previous education is. Anyway, it might be worth while checking into. It sounds like you would benefit from starting over again and getting your confidence back. Good luck!

Practice makes perfect. Listen attentively to English radio broadcast and watch the news programme. Especially the news segment. Most music programmes do not use standard proper english. You will never get to improve. Read the news in the newspaper or magazine out loud and clear. Try pronouncing it in front of the mirror and practice it with your friends. Do not shy away even if you get the pronounciation wrong. Reading, listening and practicing will improve any language power.

I used to have speech issues when I was younger. All you have to do is keep practicing. Try talking to a few people online who will be honest with you and help you correct any grammar errors. I learned to fix my silly mistakes through lots and lots of criticism, though, I thought it was pathetic help because the people who told me I couldn't type proper grammar were horrible themselves. Since it is summer, you can message me and I'll gladly help you with any questions you have. Writing will come naturally to you once you build up some confidence in your speaking. You will be fine. Keep talking in English and type more and more to someone who will help. Message me if you need anything.

Remember that most people can understand you even though your English is not perfect. It's just most people act dumb because they do not like hearing their language being spoken incorrectly. But get a good grammar book at a college book store.

Practice with an American Pen Pal, or by listening to an American movie or tv show. You could also go the library in any American city, and ask for a literacy tutor to help you. Or you could come to me.
